KAREN'S WEDDING WEEKEND

Last weekend Matt, Lexi and I traveled to Indy for my

friend, Karen's, wedding. It was nice to see some of my

old SJC buddies that I don't get to see very often.

Jace spent the weekend with his cousin, Jacob.

Jacob must be his best friend in the whole world because every

day he asks about Jacob and wants to "go to Jacob's house."

LEXI'S BAPTISM AND MORE...

We spent a day at the Children's Museum in Navy Pier

with Grandma Nancy, Uncle Chris and Aunt

at St. Adalbert's church in Whiting by Father Stan Dominik.

The cake almost didn't make it to the baptism party.

It split down the middle, but it still tasted yummy!

Thanks to everyone who attended Lexi's baptism and

party afterwards. It was nice to see everyone again.

Last weekend we traveled north to visit Papa Dave

& Miss Cole for their bridal shower. Niko, Nate,

Ginger, Christie, Tim, and Great Grandpa &

Grandma Derybowski also got to meet Lexi for the first time.

Jace had another sleepover party with Jacob and

the big hit was jumping on the air matress all

night while watching the Lion King for the first time.

Jace now loves singing the song, "Hakuna Matata."
