CINCINNATI CHILDREN'S MUSEUM

Last Friday, we met up with the Fehrenbach family at the Children's Museum in Cincinnati. It was a fun day and I got to catch up with my old Puma roomie from college :-)

JACE'S FIRST DAY OF PRESCHOOL

Jace is officially a "big boy" now. Matt and I decided to send him to a preschool class for 2-year olds two days a week; and today was Jace's first day. He loved it! Miss Paula is his teacher. When we dropped Jace off he didn't shed one tear. We were very proud of him (and a little sad now that he's not our little baby anymore) and his teachers had nothing but praises for him when I came to pick him up. Yay Jace!

SELLERSBURG CELEBRATES

Sellersburg had their big end of summer festival called "Sellersburg Celebrates" this past weekend. We decided to watch the parade and head to the carnival for some excitement. Jacob came with us and we also hung out with the Noble family. Jace spent the night at Jacob's house on Saturday and had a great time. He never stops talking about Jacob :-) Lexi is now sitting up all by herself to play with her toys. It was a good weekend...

MORE WEEKEND FUN

Last weekend, Jace had another sleepover with Jacob

while Aunt Carolyn and Uncle Jason took a little

vacation to California. Aunt Crystal and Grandpa Tom

also spent the weekend with us. Lexi took her first

bite of cereal last Friday. She did pretty well with it.

This week, Jace will turn 2 1/2 and Lexi will be 6 months.

GRANDMA'S NEW BLENDER

This update is for Grandma Nancy. For the past week, Jace has been talking about using a blender, so Grandma found one for Jace on the internet. It came in the mail yesterday and it has been non-stop blender action since then. Today Jace made a concoction of blueberries mixed with water for breakfast. He even ate/drank it. Yummy! (yes the blender actually works with liquids, but there's no blades to cut little fingers).

MORE SUMMERTIME FUN

With visits from the Marinkovich family, grandparents,

aunts and uncles, a trip to Huber's, and a trip to French Lick's

new indoor water park, this past weekand a half have

been busy as the summer comes to a close.
