DESTIN, FLORIDA FAMILY VACATION

Our first big family vacation to Destin, FL was fun,
but not very relaxing with two toddlers running around :)
We stayed at the Pelican Beach Resort right
on the beach, which had awesome white sand.

Story time with Matt in the condo

Braden being a good boy reading his book,
and Jace looking at boobs in a Maxim magazine.
Dad is starting him at such a young age :)

One day we went to the Gulfarium to see dolphins,
sharks, seals, stingrays and other animals...

The dolphin show

Sharks!

Jace tried a cherry Icee for the first time and loved it.
He slurped it down faster than me! Brain freeze!

One of several trips to a park...

I liked climbing through the tunnel

Carrie's 30th Birthday dinner at the Crab Trap

How come I don't get 30 candles?

Jace passed out after swimming in
the ocean was a regular occurance...

I'm peeing in the kiddie pool! Ha!

Playing in the sand with Dad

Jace falls asleep in the ocean again...

Jace enjoyed the kiddie playland in the Big Kahuna Waterpark

If looks could kill...

Jace enjoyed being our morning "wake-up" call around
6 a.m. every day. There was no sleeping in for us! :)

Since Jace is such an early riser,
we had several morning walks on the beach...

In my PJ's and safari hat I look so cool!

Family time at a local park in Destin (we were looking at a plane)

Last night in Destin on the beach after we
ate like pigs for dinner at the Twisted Palm...

I don't have any pictures of our trip home from Destin,
but it was the longest ride ever! It took us fourteen
and a half hours to get back because traffic was awful
(It should have only taken about 10 hours).
We were stuck in Alabama for 9 hours!
Now we are glad to be home...

5K RUN FOR CANCER - SATURDAY, JUNE 7

Chris Noble and I ran in a race along the Ohio River this past weekend. My goal was to run 3.2 miles in under 30 minutes and I finished in 26! I was even more impressed when I received a first place medal for my age division. Chris also finished right with me. We both did a great job for a good cause. Matt, Jace, Tracy and Braden came to watch us cross the finish line and cheer us on!
