Teeball and Gatlinburg Trip

Jace has officially begun teeball season. Last weekend was his first game. It was a hot one, but Jace did a great job batting and running the bases. It's also funny to see the pileup in the outfield when everyone runs to get the ball once it's hit. Notice Jace is the only one without his black cap on his head. It was way too big and he didn't like it.

We also had a great time on our trip to Gatlinburg. We highly recommend riding the arial tram to Ober Gatlinburg and riding down the mountain in the alpine slide. Tons of fun! Jace and Lexi loved the carnival rides, slides and eating lots of junk food :-) Also went on a hike in the Smokey Mountains National Park to see a waterfall. Jace led the way with his stick in hand...

We stayed at a Resort called Mountain Loft in Gatlinburg. We were on a high mountaintop so the view was awesome! Jace and Lexi enjoyed swimming and playing on the playround.

Lexi and Jace had a blast in the pool using their waterwings for the first time all by themselves! Hopefully, they will be swimming like fish by the end of the summer.
